Please note, I am still getting used to taking pics without them being blurry. I can't hold the camera still to save my soul. I am working on it. That is part of the learning process of this project.

awww, cute kitties. Last night I was trying to take pictures of the dog and cat sleeping. 17 photos later I still couldn't get past the shakes. Every single one came out with a blurry warning on the screen.
Try using your flash for those indoor shots, and it will dramatically reduce the "shake". The "shake" happens (basically) because not enough light is being let into the lens when it opens to take the picture. You can increase the lens-opening time, but then you really need a tripod because you'd see TONS of "shakes". ;)
